squirrels

Growing up was lucky enough to see 2 squirrels, furtively. Where I am from, there are no animals more elusive and skittish, than the bushy-tailed red fur-balls that you might spot once every five years. They were the cutest of the rodents, unfortunately these fragile creatures keep to themselves.

Then I moved to the US and they were everywhere! Fat, gray, nasty creatures who had no manners. Turns out these distant cousins tend to be bigger and carry a disease that kills their smaller counterparts. There goes the charm of a squirrel, and I’ve had enough of them.
