Monoprints

While printmaking allows for editions and multiple originals, there’s something nice about monoprints being unique. They can only me made once, and feel spontaneous and unadulterated. There is no need for planing or sketching and in the moment the composition reveals itself. The technique for these is simple: ink on plexiglass then run through a press.
