My name is Dominique Chirinciuc which is pronounced [key-rin-‘tchook], although most people will tell you I’m the girl with the unpronounceable name.
I recently left the cold midwest for sunny San Diego, where I spend my days designing, drawing and taking photos. When it comes to art I want to learn as much as possible, I try not to limit myself to just one area, and the curiosity is endless.
See the range of my potential on my portfolio!
I am always looking to learn more, to inspire, and contribute.
Design is about the experience, and the balance of message and image. I believe details are essential to great design, and use my sharp analytical skills to solve any challenge. For me, design focuses on simple and elegant solutions, strong typography, and above all effective communication.
Versatility and adaptability are something I do best. Not only a designer, I have a keen eye for photography, and illustration skills to rival a Sunday paper comic artist. What am I going to learn next?…Who knows, or rather what do you need? I would love to talk to you about my love for letters, my demand for white space, and anything else you want to throw at me!
My blog shows some of the recent things I’ve been working on. So if you’re looking for roaring tigers, unicorns or dancing letters, have fun checking it out!
